Welcome

Welcome to the Agriculture Department at NEO A&M College where students have the opportunity to learn with both classroom and hands-on experience. NEO has a 200 acre farm, equine facilities, indoor arena, and much more.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M offers an Associate in Science Degree for Agriculture, Natural Resource/Ecology, and Pre-Veterinary Science that will direct students in their pursuit of various Agricultural degrees at a four year school. Our classes fulfill most lower division courses for a bachelor's degree in various Agriculture programs and options. NEO also offers an Associate of Applied Science in Equine and Ranch Management, with both an Equine and Ranch option.

This allows students to study a wide range of disciplines within the Agriculture Department.

Facilities

We are very proud of the facilities NEO has to offer. Our 125' x 250' indoor multi-purpose arena houses a classroom, offices and, concession stand. The arena is not only for teaching purposes, but provides a place for many community and civic activities.

The Arena is located on the 200 acre college farm. On the farm we arise sheep, hogs, and cattle.

In addition to our arena NEO has recently added a 60 stall barn in which students can board their horses,. This stalling barn is conveniently located behind the indoor arena which allows students east access to NEO's facilities.

Transfer Credits

NEO, a nationally accredited institution, transfers credits easily. Many agriculture students transfer to Oklahoma Sate University,  university of Arkansas, Kansas Sate University, Texas A&M, Iowa State University, Missouri State University, Colorado State University, and Purdue, plus many more.

NEO agriculture graduates are on track to receive a B>S degree in their chosen field after 2 additional years of study at the University level.
