Northeastern Oklahoma A and M college Grove Campus

NEO Grove

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and the city of Grove combined resources to build a higher education center in Grove, Oklahoma. NEO – Grove provides courses each semester to meet general education requirements. Courses are taught by full-time and adjunct faculty in the classrooms at the Center, as well as by interactive video from NEO – Miami. Various degree program courses are also offered at the Grove campus (based on sufficient enrollment).

Degree programs that are typically offered (in full/near full) at the Grove campus include:

In addition to the college degree programs, NEO - Grove hosts GED Classes. Sherry McCurley teaches the GED classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Grove Center; the GED classes are free of charge. To register for the GED class, contact the Adult Learning Center at (918) 540-6292. To register for the GED test, refer to the "Links".

The Center is equipped to receive courses via interactive television from various Oklahoma universities. Computer classes and labs are available for training needs, and the facility hosts numerous community functions to promote community and economic development.

NEO - Grove News


NEO-Grove sociology class hosts a “Give Back Event”

Miami, Okla. – Tuesday, May 7, 2013 – The sociology class from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) hosted a “Give Back Event,” which consisted of hosting a t-shirt sale and a chili cook-off to raise money for a family in Jay, Okla. who recently lost a family member to leukemia. 

The class raised more than $800 from the t-shirt sales and chili cook-off.

 

The money earned from these two events was donated to the Fleming family in Jay, Okla. following Mr. Fleming's death from leukemia.

 




Fast Track LPN to RN Program at Grove Campus

Students who complete the Fast Track program will receive an Associate in Applied Sciences degree.
After graduation, the student is eligible to:
  • Write the National Council Licensure Examination, and
  • Enter the employment field as a registered nurse upon licensure by the State Board of Nursing.

The program includes:

  • 36 hours of general education courses and technical support courses,
  • A summer transition course, and
  • A 12-month program of core nursing courses that begin in July of each year
Pre-requisites for nursing courses are available online and in class.
Science courses are provided at the Miami campus.
