Dr. Jeff Hale, President of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College, (NEO) and officials on the selection committee announced the appointment of Mark Rasor as the College’s new Vice President for Fiscal Affairs.
Hale appointed Mark Rasor as Vice President for Fiscal Affairs. Rasor will serve in a senior leadership position within the College and as a key member of the president’s executive staff.
“This is truly a great time to be at NEO,” Rasor said. “I look forward to serving the president, faculty, staff and students as NEO continues to grow as one of the leading educational institutions in the four-state area.”
As vice president for fiscal affairs, Rasor will lead the strategic management of the College’s financial and operating activities, including budgeting, investing, financial reporting, purchasing, facilities, police, and human resources.
“Mark is meticulous with numbers and details, but he also has the insight and understands the big picture for this institution,” Hale said. “I want to personally thank the selection committee for their hard work, and I am confident Mark Rasor is the ideal candidate for this position.”
Previously, Rasor served as the controller and assistant to the vice president for fiscal affairs at NEO. In that role, he played an integral role in the school’s internal and external audit process and oversaw the day-to-day fiscal affairs.
Rasor earned a bachelor’s in business administration with a major in accounting from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and is a Certified Public Accountant by the Oklahoma Accountancy Board.
“Mark is a great addition to the administrative team at NEO College. He has demonstrated both his ability as a leader and his Norse spirit,” said Bethene Fahnestock, Vice President for Academic Affairs. “I look forward to working with Mark in his new role as Vice President for Fiscal Affairs.”
