Additionally, all in attendance will be able to investigate and enjoy the numerous improvements to our campus. Information regarding financial aid, scholarships, admissions, enrollment, and campus events will also be available.
There is no cost to attend Destination NEO Day, and all who participate will receive a free lunch, free t-shirt, a chance to win various door prizes, and an opportunity to win a 16 GB iPad.
“We have such an amazing campus here at NEO, and this is our opportunity to show it off to area high school juniors and seniors,” said Director of Student Recruitment Scott Donaldson. “This is like one-stop shopping. We get to educate students on everything from financial aid and scholarships to academics, organizations and athletics during this fun-filled, packed day.”
Destination NEO Day will begin at 9 a.m. Registration will be located in the lobby of the NEO Fine Arts building. NEO’s campus news team will introduce prospective students to the campus in an opening session.
Students will have the opportunity to visit with faculty advisors and students from various academic departments. New this year to NEO will be a breakout session for all undecided students to inquire about opportunities for their future here at NEO. NEO will also provide students with an additional opportunity to meet with students and faculty representing various on-campus organizations, financial aid, business office, and other campus departments, during which prospective students can gather information about the clubs and organizations available at NEO.
In addition, NEO College Ambassadors and representatives from the different academic departments will offer tours of the campus and its facilities.
Donaldson urges all area high school juniors and seniors to visit the campus at NEO A&M College and experience firsthand the amazing changes and updates NEO has to offer.
