The Golden Norse football team at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO), will play its first spring football game under head coach Ryan Held. Miami community members Marcel Walther and Brent Brassfield will serve as honorary coaches for the event. Walther will coach the offense and Brassfield will coach the defense. 
The game will take place Thursday, May 1 at 7 p.m. on Red Robertson Field. There will be tailgate sponsored by Sodexo at 5 p.m., and it is free to NEO students. The cost is $5 for others attending. Admission to the game is free.

There will also be a pep rally on April 30 at 7:30 p.m. by the fountain between the Fine Arts and Administration building. Free food and drinks will be provided. There will be appearances by coaches, players and more. Performances by the band, cheerleaders, and Norse Stars will also take place at the pep rally.
