Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) are please to release the 2014 homecoming activities schedule. Homecoming is Saturday, Oct. 11, 2014 and will start with a “Kickoff to Oz” Monday, Oct. 6 at 6:30 p.m. in keeping with this year’s theme, “There’s No Place Like Homecoming.”     

“The week’s activities will begin on Monday night and continue all the way to the game on Saturday,” said Amy Ishmael, vice president of student affairs. “We have lots of activities to keep our students involved, and we also have a competitions for the clubs and organizations. Some of the activities include a “Use Your Brain Scarecrow Hunt,” “Show your Courage marshmallow fight” and “S’more Fun, Have a Heart Volleyball game” and the voting for the Mr. and Ms. Norse Spirit.”
NEO clubs and organizations compete in various activities to earn points for the President’s Cup, which is awarded each spring to the outstanding club or organization.

Monday, Oct. 6 – “Kickoff to Oz”
• 6:30 p.m. – Turn the fountain blue. Community is invited to attend, and admission is free.

Thursday, Oct. 9 – “Have a Heart”
• 4 p.m. – Volleyball game in the SAC -- NEO vs. Labette. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children.
• 7 p.m. - Homecoming king and queen pageant in the Fine Arts Building. Admission is free.  
Friday, Oct.10 – “Wicked Pep Rally” 
• 8 p.m. – Pep Rally at the Fountain. Community is invited to attend, and admission is free.

Saturday, Oct. 11 – Game Day 
• 10 a.m. – Parade (route travels around campus).
• 11 a.m. – Alumni Awards Banquet in the Calcagno Family Ballroom. Tickets are $15 each.  Reservations should be made by calling the NEO Foundation at 918-540-6115.
• 2 p.m. – Kickoff – Admission to the game is $6 for adults and $3 for children
            Halftime – Coronation
