Hi!  Welcome to NEO A & M College!  We're so glad you have chosen to become a Golden Norseman!

I am a Psychology/Sociology instructor in the Social Sciences department which is located on the third floor of Shipley Hall.  I teach both Face-to-Face and Interactive Television courses.

I teach General Psychology, Developmental Psychology, Introduction to Forensic Psychology, Psychology and Adjustment, College Life and Success, Freshman Year Experience and  Introduction to Sociology.  2014-2015 marks my 14th year at NEO and my 26th year teaching!  I have been fortunate to have received a Dobson Excellence in Teaching Award, several Teacher of the Month awards and the Dobson Distinguished Service Award.

Originally from New Jersey, I have taught for the United States Air Force in Europe, the Command and General Staff College, US Army, Leavenworth, KS and for the American Red Cross in Europe and the in US.  I was a therapist in Community Mental Health for 13 years and in private practice for 3 years.  I have my Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Sociology/English Literature from the University of Central Florida, my master's degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Southern New Hampshire and my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, emphasis on Trauma Psychology, from California Southern University.

My husband and I own a small farm in Grove where we rehab retired Thoroughbred racehorses.  We are owned by several rescued dogs and are staff for one rescued cat.

Whether face-to-face or over the ITV, I so look forward to meeting you.  Believe me, we'll have some FUN!
