Background Information

Tyler is from Poteau, Oklahoma and has been involved in the livestock industry his whole life. He grew up on a poultry farm where he and his family also raised quarter horses and cattle. He attended Eastern Oklahoma State College for junior college and finished his Bachelor’s degree in Ag-Business at Texas A&M-Commerce. Tyler was on the livestock judging team in both junior college and senior college and received numerous awards and honors including being named to the Junior College All-American Team. Tyler has recently completed his Master’s degree in Animal Science with emphasis in Reproductive Physiology at the University of Arizona. While at Arizona Tyler coached the livestock judging team, taught four undergraduate courses, and served as advisor for the Collegiate Cattle Growers club. He has also had the privilege of judging livestock shows in six states and Mexico. Tyler is the Ranch Management Instructor and Beef Herdsman here at NEO, he teaches a variety of classes ranging from feeds and feeding to livestock breeding. Tyler is very proud to be a member of the NEO Family.
