Gerald W. Jones

Mr. Gerald Jones is the Program Director for the Medical Laboratory Technician program at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO).  He graduated from Sand Springs High School in Oklahoma and is a 1960 graduate of NEO  He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology from the University of Oklahoma and a Master of Arts in Management from Webster University, St. Louis, Mo.  Mr. Jones is certified as both a medical technologist and a specialist in blood bank by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP).  He received his medical technology clinical training at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oklahoma City and his blood bank clinical training at John Sealy Hospital, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, Texas.  He has more than 40  years experience in the medical laboratory field including 22 years as a military clinical laboratory officer and is a retired Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy.  Mr, Jones taught for six years at NEO as adjunct faculty and has been fulltime faculty for the past eight years.
