Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant

The Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) program is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Pell Grant recipients with the lowest expected family contributions (EFCs) will be considered first for an SEOG. Just like Pell Grants, the SEOG does not have to be repaid.

How much can I get?

NEO students can receive up to $500 per year for SEOG, depending on when you apply, your financial need, NEO’s level of funding, and your enrollment status.  The amount for students enrolled less than full time is pro-rated based on hours enrolled.
