American Indian Center for Excellence

About AICE

One Campus. Many Nations.
NEO A&M's American Indian Center for Excellence was established in March, 2011. Our mission is simple: We aim to empower American Indian students to become successful, productive, healthy graduates.

NEO is a diverse campus with many tribes represented. Our unique diversity provides a rich cultural environment in which students can embrace their heritage while building solid futures.

AICE is funded by a Title III grant awarded in the Fall of 2010. A conduit to internal and external resources, we strive to respond to the self-defined educational needs and goals of our American Indian students and communities. This goal is achieved through quality educational programming and assistance. Our professional development activities for educators promote awareness, better understanding, and sensitivity to American Indian cultures.
