ONASHE Conference 2014
Oklahoma Native American Students in Higher Education
Walking in the Footsteps of our Ancestors
February 21-23, 2014

ONASHE, Northeastern OK A&M College and the American Indian Center for Excellence

Northeastern OK A&M College (NEO) is situated in Ottawa County, Oklahoma, the only county in the United States home to nine tribes: Eastern Shawnee, Miami, Modoc, Ottawa, Peoria, Quapaw, Seneca-Cayuga, Shawnee and Wyandotte. The interaction between local tribes and educational institutions in the area made NEO an ideal choice to host the 2014 ONASHE conference. The American Indian Center for Excellence (AICE), a Title III grant funded center located on the NEO campus, serves as a home base for many Native students at NEO and will host many ONASHE activities. AICE staff will work to run the 2014 ONASHE conference.
