Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The SOR grant coordinator will overview state mandates, required data collection and reporting for the State Opioid Response Grant (which also encompasses stimulant mis-use and suicide prevention). This role will coordinate student programming designed to raise awareness, arrange for training sessions for faculty, staff and students and lead a coalition of like-minded campus and community partners.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Attend HEPS Provider meetings and trainings as provided by ODMHSAS
  • Coordinate a coalition work group among other communities and on campus
  • Attend and orchestrate monthly coalition meetings
  • Gather coalition disparate health population data per coalition meeting
  • Create monthly events
  • Gather and record earned media (earn talk spots about the grant via newspaper, radio/podcast broadcasts, local television talk shows/ads, etc.)
  • Obtain certifications via HEPS Provider meetings and trainings, or otherwise requested by ODMHSAS field representative
  • Meet deadlines requested by ODMHSAS field representatives
  • Have monthly campus on-site meetings with designated ODMHSAS field representative
  • Have monthly technical assistance meetings with designated ODMHSAS field representative
  • Submit monthly reports for both opioid and stimulant subjects respectively via PRS system
  • Submit monthly benchmarks for both opioid and stimulant subjects respectively via PRS system
  • Submit monthly budget spendings for both opioid and stimulant subjects respectively via Access Control System
  • Conduct needs assessment (ACHA-NCHA surveys) at minimum once every fiscal year of grant as required
  • Know how to access and utilize OK Corral to submit requisitions and record POs to Business Office as needed that relate to grant
  • Other duties as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution preferred; Associate’s degree required.
