Learn from Anywhere

In addition to staying on top of the latest information from the college, you will want to maintain communication methods with your instructors and stay current with your coursework, as well. There are a variety of different ways that your instructor can communicate with you and your classmates, information on how to use each is below.

Read your email!
Email will most likely be the primary source of information for both the college and your instructors. Be sure to consistently check (and respond to when necessary!) the official NEO email regularly throughout the closure.

How often should I check my email?
At least two or three times a day. Keep in mind that you will not have face-to-face classes available to ask your instructors questions or find out if there are any updates/changes so checking your email and other communication methods as often as possible will help you stay on top of your assignments and requirements.

Completing Class Assignments

Your instructors will provide information on any changes to course assignments, due dates, and methods. The following resources will assist you become familiar with Canvas (NEO’s Learning Management System) and with completing a variety of different assignment types from a distance.
