Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
This position assists students and the public with all aspects of the Admissions Office.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Works directly with students, faculty, staff, and the general public.
• Evaluates student records for admission, placement, and enrollment.
• Processes student paperwork and transcripts.
• Performs duties of general office work, personal contacts, telephone communication, and mail correspondence.
• Works with student information software for student enrollment, transcripts, class schedules, and student records.
• Word processing duties.
• Other duties as assigned by the Assistant Registrar and Registrar.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
• High school graduate.
• Knowledge of college admission process
• Strong people skills, computer skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in high traffic office.
• Must be able to understand institutional and state policies and procedures.
