Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for minor corrective/preventive maintenance and general repairs as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Performs various minor corrective/preventive repairs as assigned for HVAC and building appliances
- Maintains minor inventory of items such as air filters and equipment parts
- Conducts inspections and cleaning of equipment rooms and maintains the swimming pool system
- May perform corrective repairs to sump pumps and other minor plumbing fixtures as assigned
- Completes assigned work orders as needed and may assist other departments in repairs
- Perform any other maintenance duties or tasks as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Trade school or related college experience preferred
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must have a working cell phone
- Must pass a background check
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, be able to stand and/or walk 8 hours a day
- Must be familiar with all common hand tools and their uses be able to operate a meter
- Ability to climb and maneuver a 30-foot ladder and be comfortable with heights
