PURPOSE OF POSITION
To assist the Student Recruitment Office in the daily operations.
JOB DUTIES
- File and/or shred office paperwork.
- Provide Campus tours to prospective students and group tours.
- Collect and distribute mail appropriately.
- Aid staff to help students efficiently by obtaining files and other information.
- Run errands for the supervisor.
- Data entry
- Make copies and stuff envelopes for mass mailing.
- Keep the office area and workroom clean and organized.
- General Office duties: fax, copy, make labels, and recycle files.
- Any other duties assigned by office staff.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate/GED
- Current NEO A & M student in good Academic Standing
- Basic typing and computer skills
EVALUATION PROCEDURES
- Performance of job duties will be evaluated on an ongoing basis by office staff.
- Special attention will be paid to the following:
- Getting to work on time for scheduled shifts
- Accuracy of work performed.
- Appropriate use of time while at work
- Greeting students and family members when they walk into the office.
- Following assigned work schedule
- Dress appropriately (NEO college shirts only)
- Treat every current and prospective student, staff, and faculty member with courtesy and respect.
- Refrain from having visitors while scheduled for duty.
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner.
SCHEDULE
- The Recruitment Office will work around the student’s schedule to create an appropriate work schedule.
- The office is open Monday – Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.
