PURPOSE OF POSITION

Are you a passionate gamer with a flair for live streaming? Join our team as an Esports Game Streaming. Intern and bring your skills to the forefront of the gaming community. As an intern, you will have the exciting opportunity to stream esports games, engage with viewers, and be an integral part of our growing esports platform. You will be streaming our official NJCAAE games during the week and casual games for the build up of our twitch stream affiliation

JOB DUTIES

  • Live stream esports games on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, or others, engaging and interacting with viewers to create an immersive gaming experience.
  • Provide entertaining and insightful commentary during live streams, showcasing your gaming expertise and passion for the esports industry.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to promote upcoming streams and engage with the gaming community on various social media platforms.
  • Explore new ways to enhance the quality of live streams, such as incorporating overlays, graphics, and other interactive elements.
  • Assist in managing technical aspects of the streaming setup and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during broadcasts.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Avid gamer with a deep understanding and passion for esports, including popular titles and gaming trends.
  • Experience in live streaming games on platforms like Twitch or YouTube (provide links to previous streams if available).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, able to engage and entertain viewers during live streams.
  • Proficiency in using streaming software and related tools is a plus (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs).
  • Must be a current student enrolled in 12 or more credits with at least a 2.0 gpa.

EVALUATION PROCEDURES

  • Performance of job duties will be evaluated on an ongoing basis by office staff.
  • Special attention will be paid to the following:
    • Getting to work on time for scheduled shifts
    • Accuracy of work performed
    • Appropriate use of time while at work
    • Greeting customers as they enter into store
    • Following assigned work schedule

SCHEDULE

  • The eSports Office will work around the student’s schedule to create an appropriate work schedule.
