The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and Connors State College baseball teams will play in the first-ever A&M Classic. The highly anticipated game will occur on Wednesday, April 3, at 6 p.m. at ONEOK Field in Tulsa’s historic Greenwood District.

Making history! The A&M Classic is expected to be an annual event bringing together fans and alumni of the Oklahoma A&M two-year colleges.

ONEOK Field, home of the Tulsa Drillers, provides an incredible opportunity for college athletes to experience playing in a minor-league baseball stadium while showcasing junior college baseball in the Greenwood District.

“The NEO Golden Norsemen are excited to play Connors State at one of the best minor league parks in the country,” said NEO Baseball head coach Roger Ward. “The location is perfect for both teams to get their fans and alumni in the Tulsa area out to watch some great baseball.”

Thanks to the generous support of the Western Bank of Oklahoma and OSU/A&M Regent Jimmy Harrel and his wife Marilyn, the A&M Classic promises to be a memorable experience for NEO and Connors State fans, baseball enthusiasts, and the Tulsa community.

Event organizers from NEO said Tulsa Drillers president and general manager Mike Melega and his team have been valuable collaborators on the ground, helping make the historic first game a reality.

With the NEO Golden Norsemen going head-to-head against Connors State Cowboys, fans can expect nine innings filled with excitement, camaraderie, and outstanding athleticism. Tickets for the game are $7 and will be available online at tulsadrillers.com and the ONEOK Field Ticket Office beginning at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 8.
