Officials at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) recently unveiled the 2015 homecoming date scheduled for Saturday, Sep. 26, 2015. This year’s theme, “Superheroes in Disguise,” was selected by a committee comprised of alumni, faculty, staff and students. “Superhero movies are all the rage and have been dominating the box office, so it is only fitting that we bring the excitement and success to the campus for homecoming. Our students can relate to the theme, and we have some amazing superheroes in our alumni. We are very excited about homecoming and invite the community to join the festivities as well,” said Lisa Severe, chair of the homecoming committee. “Homecoming traditions include an alumni banquet honoring outstanding NEO alums, the crowning of our new NEO king and queen, the parade around campus and the highlight of the week: the Golden Norse football game against Arkansas Baptist.”

In addition to the favored homecoming traditions, NEO has added several new events and activities to the schedule. The Alumni Office will present several new awards at the Alumni Banquet and will have an Alumni Art Show for viewing at Kah-Ne-You-Ah Hall. Another change in activities includes the start of the Homecoming Parade, which will now begin at 4 p.m. and end with a tailgate at the stadium with food, games, inflatables, and face painting.
