Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College welcomes all to the Fine Arts Center for Ragnarök, an interactive musical experience, April 13-15, 2023, at 7pm.
Ragnarök is not your ordinary concert. In Norse mythology, Ragnarök is a series of events that lead to the world’s destruction before a glorious rebirth. NEO Band presents the concert at the end of one school year before the promise of the next.
There are familiar songs as well as new songs with performances by the concert band, jazz band, marching band, and drumline under the direction of NEO Band director Adam Compton and performances by NEO Choir under the direction of Dr. Tatiana Taylor. The choir will also perform a new song written and composed by NEO student Goldie Snow.
“Ragnarök is more than just a concert. It is a show that utilizes sets, lights and sound,” said Compton. “It takes band, choir, and theatre working together. It is something that the whole family will enjoy. Come join us for an evening of entertainment that you won’t forget.”
Tickets are $5 at the door general admission, cash only. Ragnarök is free for NEO students and employees and children 12 and under.
