The football program at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (NEO) is in the process of kicking off the new season with a booster campaign. The football booster program at NEO has always played an important role in the success of the athletic department, and this year’s head football coach Ryan Held said he is determined to increase the booster membership numbers. “We are very excited about the NEO Football Booster Club Membership Drive campaign starting today. The support of our boosters is critical for the success of the NEO football program,” Held said. “We want to stay on the cutting edge of technology, recruiting, equipment, and all the other tools needed to build a championship organization. Rich Lillard, our booster club president, and I will take it day by day to build the best booster club in junior college football.”

The NEO Golden Norse Booster Club was created to support NEO’s rich athletic tradition and help keep NEO football among the finest programs in the nation. The mission of the Golden Norse Booster Club is to build, promote, and support the football program at NEO. Membership is open to anyone who is interested in financially supporting the football program at the college. Funds are used for recruiting and assisting student athletes, and funding essential projects that further the NEO Golden Norse football program.   “As the booster president, I am very excited about our new campaign,” Lillard said. “We have added a new membership level that not only advances our mission but directly benefits the athletes by providing a $500 book scholarship. Coach Held believes in having a successful football program, and he also wants to have a successful booster club. His enthusiasm is contagious, and I expect to see our booster membership increase.”

There are multiple membership levels ranging from $150 to $1,000.  All memberships include tickets to home games, access to the Chapman Alumni Suite in the Crossland Complex and media guides.   To become a member of the NEO Football boosters please contact the NEO Athletic Department at 918-540-6327 or visit the web site at www.neoathletics.com.  Follow them on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/pages/NEO-Golden-Norsemen-Football/180615561988520 or on Twitter at https://twitter.com/Norsemen_FB.
