Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will host the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Banquet during homecoming weekend on Friday, October 4, at 6pm in the Calcagno Family Ballroom.

A recent graduate of the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking, Ben Hampton, has also completed OBA from the Commercial Lending School and Consumer Lending School. He earned his Bachelor of Arts and Science degree from the University of Oklahoma, after completing an associate’s degree from Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College in 2008.

Hampton currently serves as the president of the Bank of Grand Lake, where he oversees operations, strategic planning, financial performance, and community relations. He also chairs the bank’s Asset and Liability Committee and is responsible for presenting financials to the Board of Directors monthly. His career at the bank began in 2013 as senior vice president and consumer lender, where he specialized in underwriting various types of loans.

In addition to his professional accomplishments, Hampton is actively involved in his community. He serves as a deacon and children’s ministry volunteer at Mt. Hermon Church in Jay, Oklahoma, is a board member for the Grove Education Foundation for Excellence, and a member of the Integris Grove Governing Board of Directors.

An accomplished athlete, Hampton was a starting long snapper for the University of Oklahoma football team from 2008 to 2010 and played in the BCS National Championship game in 2009. He was selected to the Oklahoma All-State Football team and received the Carl Rigney Award for being the top male student-athlete at NEO.

Hampton’s dedication to both his career and community reflects his commitment to excellence and leadership.
