Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will host the 2024 Outstanding Alumni Banquet during homecoming weekend on Friday, October 4, at 6pm in the Calcagno Family Ballroom.

BradSmith

Born and raised in Ottawa County, Brad Smith, is a proud graduate of Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College and Oklahoma State University. Smith earned his associate in computer science degree from NEO in 1989 and went on to obtain his bachelor’s degree in management information systems from the Spears School of Business at OSU.

In recognition of his achievements, he was selected for the inaugural Spears Business School MSIS Cloud of Honor in 2022. At OSU, he now serves as an active member of several advisory, including the Management Information Systems Advisory Board, the Corporate Analytics Advisory Board, and the Computer Science Industry Advisory Board.

Smith has made a significant impact in the field of information technology and software development. As the chief information officer at Paycom since April 2018, Smith has been a guiding force, mentoring and inspiring his team. Before joining Paycom, Smith honed his expertise as a senior technical consultant at Bearing Point and as manager of software development and business intelligence at Fleming Companies, Inc. His career spans over three decades, with deep experience in software development and IT management.

Smith’s dedication to his profession, his alma mater, and his community makes him a worthy recipient of the 2024 Outstanding Alumni award.

All alumni and friends of the college are invited to attend the banquet. Tickets are $35 and $15 (12 and under) or $280 for a table of eight. Purchase tickets at the door or online.
