The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Rodeo teams hosted more than 300 contestants for the 14th Annual NEO Alumni/Recruitment Rodeo on Nov 18. A $5,000 tuition scholarship was given to the high-point contestant overall, Jake Holmes, from Mulberry, Kansas, and book scholarships were given to the second and third high-point contestants, Hazen Sparks, from Talihina, Oklahoma and Zoe Tunks, from King City, Missouri.

“This was another very successful Alumni/Recruitment Rodeo,” said NEO Rodeo coach Kolby Ungeheuer. “It is exciting to see so many alumni come back to support the event. More than 100 top high school recruits also competed that day, it was a huge a success for the NEO Rodeo program. I would like to thank our sponsors that make the event possible and the continued support from our NEO administration. It wouldn’t be possible without them.”
