Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Student Body Government comprises ten freshmen and sophomores. These individuals work together to make NEO the best it can be for the student body.

“We have a great group of young leaders serving on the officer team this year,” said Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Amy Ishmael. “They are true servant leaders and have the desire to help make NEO the best it can be. I am thankful to have each of them on the team.”

Grace Wishard – President

Grace is a sophomore from Choteau, Oklahoma, majoring in agronomy. NEO has always been her dream. “It’s the family-like atmosphere that gives me a sense of home. Earning a position on the Student Body Government team has meant a lot to me and working hand in hand with my peers to improve this campus will always be one of my favorite memories and achievements.”

Priscilla Silva Vilar – Vice President

Priscilla is a sophomore from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, majoring in computer science. Since she was little, Priscilla dreamed of studying college abroad. “NEO is everything I dreamed of. I got a scholarship for choir and was well received by my choir teacher, advisor, and professors. NEO offers great opportunities and is a place where, even so far from home, I feel at home and welcome.”

Goldie Snow – Secretary

Goldie is a sophomore from Miami, Oklahoma, majoring in vocal performance. “NEO has become home for me and countless students. I’m thankful to be a voice of my NEO family and advocate for them as my own because they are.”

Nancy Jaime – Treasurer

Nancy is a sophomore from Miami, Oklahoma, majoring in English. She came to NEO because it was close to home, and an affordable option. “NEO was a great way to kickstart my college career. I have joined great organizations like Student Body Government, that have given me the necessary skills to succeed at a four-year university.”

Carley Harper – Reporter

Carley is a sophomore from Miami, Oklahoma, majoring in business administration. She is the third generation in her family to attend NEO. “I love NEO. This place has become my second home. The people here are very kind and compassionate. The instructors are helpful and eager to make a connection with their students. I’ve been a work-study here since I joined NEO, and I couldn’t be more grateful for my bosses, Dr. Stafford, and Kendra Cummins, for presenting me with great opportunities to help me to get where I’m going for the future.”

Kaitlyn Stephens – Parliamentarian

Kaitlyn is a sophomore from Locust Grove, Oklahoma, majoring in business administration. She chose NEO because she wanted to be part of a family celebrating each other’s successes and cheering on one another. “Since I was little, my Papa, Senator Stephens, has always told me, Once a Norseman, always a Norseman, and it’s the truth.”

Chelsie Wilmoth – Senator

Chelsie is a sophomore from Durant, Oklahoma, majoring in business administration. “NEO has become my home away from home. The community of great people on this campus has helped me grow as a student, individual and leader.”

Hannah Dozier – Senator

Hannah is a sophomore from Grove, Oklahoma, double majoring in general agriculture and business administration. She is also a member of the livestock judging team. “Growing up, I competed in many contests at NEO. At that time, I had no idea all the opportunities attending NEO would offer. I am extremely grateful to be a part of many clubs that put others over themselves.”

Skylar Zortz – Sophomore Representative

Skylar is a sophomore from Weir, Kansas majoring in general agriculture with an equine option. “NEO has become a second home to me, and through my involvement with SBG, I want to create an even better NEO for future students and leave a lasting impact here that students in years to come will remember.”

James Trammel – Freshman Representative

James is a freshman from Owasso, Oklahoma, majoring in agribusiness. He chose NEO because it felt like home when he came to tour. “The people I’ve met have become lifelong friends. I also love eating all I want in the cafe; I really love buffets.”
