Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will induct the 1995 softball team into the Athletic Hall of Fame on September 23 at 11am in the Calcagno Family Ballroom.
The 1995 Lady Norse Softball team, led by head coach Woody Morrow, captured the Region II Championship with a victory over Connors State College, advancing them to the National Junior College Athletic Association District B Tournament.
NEO defeated Alvin College in games one and two in a best-of-three series winning the District B Championship, and sending the Lady Norse to the NJCAA National Tournament.
The Lady Norse would defeat Central Arizona in the first game of the National Tournament, qualifying them for the National Title game. They finished the season as the National Runner-Up with an overall record of 52-5.
The Lady Norse were led by NJCAA All-Americans Leanne Taylor, Heather Moore, Christy Briley, Jessica Crawford, and Mandy Eddings.
