Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Volleyball will host the Region II Volleyball Tournament on Friday, November 1 in the Glen Wolfe Student Activity Center.

Rose State will play Seminole at 3:00 p.m., then NEO will play the winner of that game at 5:00 p.m. The winner of the second game will advance to the “semifinals” of the Southern Plains District B Volleyball Tournament, which is set to take place at Kansas City Kansas Community College on Wednesday, November 6. The winner of the game at KCKCC will advance to the finals for District B and will play at Friends University on Saturday, November 9.

“Our players and coaches are excited to host,” said NEO Volleyball head coach Sarah Wall. “The team has had an extremely difficult schedule. We have played more than 40 matches and competed against the top three teams in the nation to have wins against number 2 and 3.”

This year’s team has more wins than any other NEO Volleyball team in the history of the program. The goal from day one was to go to the national championship, and the team strives to do just that by adding more wins throughout the season. Their current record is 31-7.

“Coach Wall has done a tremendous job with our team,” said NEO athletic director Joe Renfro. “We are truly blessed to have such a talented coach. After her first day on campus last year, we knew it wouldn’t take long to get NEO volleyball on the right track, but it’s extremely impressive that she’s done so in such a short amount of time. The host for the Region II Volleyball Tournament goes to the Region II Championship. Our team has done a great job throughout the year of proving that we deserve to be that team.”
