Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College will induct the 1991 women’s basketball team into the NEO Athletic Hall of Fame. The Athletic Hall of Fame Banquet and Alumni Reception, originally scheduled during homecoming weekend, have been postponed to a date to be determined next spring in light of the ever-changing impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the direction of Coach Randy Gipson, the Lady Norse finished the ’90-’91 season as the National Runner-Up in the NJCAA Women’s Championship Tournament. The women’s team began their post season journey by winning the Bi-State East title before becoming the NJCAA Region II Champions. The Lady Norse lost a tough match against Odessa Junior College 61-60 and finished the record setting season 36-2.  For more information please contact NEO Athletics at 918-540-6327.
