This is a contemporary retelling of a story that has been told in many different ways in many countries. The main characters, through thoughtlessness or greed, waste three wishes that have been granted them. The moral is not to get overly greedy and to value what you have, no matter how little it is, because it could always be worse.
The principal characters are The Fisherman, played by Alex Warstler, and his understudy, Tyler Graham; The Fisherman’s Wife, played by Hailey Keith and her understudy Domonique Moore; the Fish, played by Rodney Leland; Mrs. Trippet, played by Britany Geidl; and Mrs. Followell, played by Maryclaire Allen. The townspeople/dancers are: Chacall Charles, Domonique Lindsay, Dylan Brewer, Bentley Heydt, Tyler Graham, Jennifer Wood, Elizabeth Sospenzi, Clarissa McJunkins, Michaela Morrison, and Chancy Green.
The cost of tickets is $4 for adults and seniors, $2 for children, and admission is free for NEO Students, Faculty and Staff. For more information feel free to contact Barbara George, Director of Theatre: bgeorge@neo.edu
