The featured speaker will be Dustin Pyeatt, who is a public relations professional for the Oklahoma Department of Commerce. A native Oklahoman, Pyeatt was born, raised and educated in Okla. He began his career in public relations as a communications manager with the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS). While at OKDHS he oversaw production of the department’s radio and television commercials and educational videos. Pyeatt also managed several statewide campaigns and served as the department’s spokesperson.

It was at OKDHS that Pyeatt also lent his talents to the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management where he served as a reserve disaster communications responder, assisting that agency with several local, state and national disasters. After a decade of service to the state, Pyeatt worked as the media relations manager for the Oklahoma Blood Institute where he set records for publicity and media coverage, building strong relationships with local media across the state. “This is a great opportunity for small, area-businesses to learn a revolutionary way to find employees who match their needs,” said Pat Creech, Chair of the Business & Technology Department at NEO.
