Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for general landscaping, maintenance of equipment, and repairs where needed

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Typical duties, weeding, edging, mowing, and garbage collection
  • Assist with school event setups and take downs
  • Conducts inspections and cleaning of equipment rooms
  • Assist with moving and assembly of office equipment and furniture
  • Completes assigned work orders as needed and may assist other departments
  • Perform any other maintenance duties or tasks as assigned

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a working cell phone.
  • Must pass a background check.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, be able to stand and/or walk 8 hours a day
  • Must be familiar with all common hand tools and their uses
  • Ability to climb and maneuver a ladder and be comfortable with heights
