The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College rodeo teams competed in the College National Finals Rodeo in Wyoming. Emma Ricke was named the CNFR Rookie of the Year in Barrel Racing, and Bailey Stuva was the Reserve All-Around Champion.

“It was an awesome year for NEO Rodeo,” said NEO Rodeo coach Kolby Ungeheuer. “I couldn’t be more pleased. Six NEO students competed at the CNFR on the national stage with three top-fifteen finishes. I am looking forward to many outstanding years for NEO Rodeo.”

The NEO Rodeo women’s team and two members of the men’s team qualified to compete in the CNFR after their wins in the Central Plains Region rodeo circuit.
