The Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College Golden Norsemen Football team will take the field for the inter-squad Spring Game at Red Robertson Field on Saturday, April 27, at 1 pm. The game is free and open to the public.

The Spring Game is an entertaining and engaging opportunity to see returning sophomores and new talent making plays on the field.

“We are gearing up for an electrifying Spring Game that will showcase the effort, attitude and toughness of our team,” said NEO Football head coach Zach Crissup.

Fans will see collaboration throughout the team and increased skillsets from the fall season. Offensive coordinator Evan Lassiter said he is eager to witness the team’s improvements in competition.

Christian Jones, freshman defensive lineman from Shattuck, said, “Spectators will see the improvements we have made this spring and will receive a preview of the grittiness that will carry over to the fall season.”

The NEO Football program has implemented a new physical standard for the upcoming season. The athletes have put in immense work throughout spring training to demonstrate an increased quality of competitiveness from last season.

“I feel really good about our offense and our abilities to make big plays and excite the fans,” said Dorien Middleton, freshman wide receiver from Oklahoma City.
