Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for corrective/preventive maintenance and repairs of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, boiler and plumbing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Responsible for the installation, operation, and corrective and preventive repairs of HVAC/boiler systems
- Maintain and order HVAC/boiler equipment, parts, and supplies following Oklahoma State Purchasing procedures
- Keep adequate amount of inventory to insure proper operation of critical equipment
- Insure campus wide HVAC/boiler systems are properly maintained and comply with all applicable State and Federal codes and regulations
- Maintain all required records and logs and ensure they are complete and up to date
- Must maintain a working cell phone for use during normal working hours and after-hours emergency calls
- Have a working knowledge of modern building automation systems and be able to make necessary changes to schedules and set point configurations
- Perform routine related inspections
- Minor electrical installation
- Perform any other maintenance duties or tasks as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Trade school or related college experience preferred
- Minimum three (3) years’ experience in plumbing or HVAC field
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license
- EPA refrigerant certification
- Must be willing to train for Oklahoma State Boiler Certification and Repair License.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to climb and maneuver a 30 foot ladder.
