Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College had 34 student-athletes selected for the National Junior College Athletic Association 2022-2023 All-Academic teams.

Student-athletes earn NJCAA academic honors by achieving an overall grade point average of 3.6 or higher. Two NEO students were selected for the first team with a 4.0 GPA, 13 for the second team, and 21 for the third team.

First team: 4.0 GPA

  • Tyler Douthitt – Men’s Soccer

Second team: 3.8-3.9 GPA

  • Jaycee Beach – Women’s Soccer
  • Mia Howard – Women’s Soccer

“These individuals worked hard inside and outside the classroom this year,” said Joe Renfro, NEO athletic director and wrestling coach. “It is great to know we have athletes who care about their academic performance as much as their athletic performance.”
