Job Description

PURPOSE OF POSITION

To assist the Innovation Center in the daily operations of the department.

JOB DUTIES

  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for various tasks, including creating documents, managing spreadsheets, and preparing presentations.
  • Assist in editing instructional videos for center staff and faculty
  • Experience with Mac platform is helpful
  • Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide customer service to students and faculty
  • Assist office staff with various projects and tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School graduate/GED
  • Current NEO A & M student in good Academic Standing
  • Basic typing and computer skills

EVALUATION PROCEDURES

  • Performance of job duties will be evaluated on an ongoing basis by office staff.
  • Special attention will be paid to the following:
    • Getting to work on time for scheduled shifts
    • Accuracy of work performed
    • Appropriate use of time while at work
    • Maintaining confidentiality of student information
    • Following assigned work schedule

SCHEDULE

  • The Innovation Center will work around the student’s schedule to create an appropriate work schedule.
  • The office is open Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
