Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for minor corrective/preventive maintenance, general building and grounds repairs as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Performs various corrective/preventive repairs as assigned for building maintenance.
  • Maintains inventory of items such as air filters and equipment parts.
  • Conducts inspections and cleaning of equipment rooms.
  • May perform corrective repairs to sump pumps and other minor plumbing fixtures as assigned.
  • Completes assigned work orders as needed and may assist other departments.
  • Perform any other maintenance duties or tasks as assigned.
  • General knowledge of HVAC
  • General electrical knowledge
  • Basic fundamentals of plumbing

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a working cell phone.
  • Must pass a background check.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to pay attention to the details of a project or task.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or more, be able to stand and/or walk 8 hours a day.
  • Must be familiar with all common hand tools and their uses.
  • Ability to climb and maneuver a ladder and be comfortable with heights.
