The rodeo team learns from a veteran coaching staff that have a history of developing students, both in the arena, as well as the classroom. Students have the opportunity to compete in the National Intercollegiate Rodeo Association (NIRA). Approximately 10 rodeos are held in the fall and spring in which students compete for points within the Central Plains Region (Kansas and Oklahoma).
The NEO Rodeo Program offers a variety of scholarships to outstanding students. These scholarships may include tuition, books and room fee waivers.
CNFR qualifiers have been successful – winning national championships and setting new arena records. Team members and other students may board their horses on the NEO College Farm. NEO’s Rodeo Team has access to indoor and outdoor practice facilities.
