Registered nurses are in high demand nationwide. Associate degree registered nurses account for 60% of Oklahoma’s nursing workforce, double the national average. NEO has contributed to the nursing workforce since 1975!

The Associate in Applied Science degree program at NEO is designed to prepare graduates for licensure as a registered nurse and entry into nursing practice.

The ADN program extends over four academic semesters. The total curriculum includes courses in general education as well as specific courses in biological sciences, physical sciences, behavioral sciences, and nursing science. Students typically complete the entire program in three years.

Additional time may be required for students who need to complete remedial courses. The general education courses and science courses are offered in the fall, spring and summer semesters. The nursing courses are offered only during the regular academic semesters, starting with the fall semester.

Licensed Practical Nurses and Paramedics can graduate in as little as one year through the NEO Nursing Fast-Track program.

NEO Nursing Fast-Track Application

  • Classes begin July 2025.
  • Application deadline March 31, 2025.

NEO/NT Nursing Fast-Track Application

  • Northeast Tech campus in Kansas, Oklahoma.
  • Classes begin January 2025.
  • Application deadline September 18, 2024.

The fast-track program for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Paramedics is 12 months. All required general education, psychology, and physical and biological science courses must be completed prior to entry into the program. Need to get started on your prerequisites? Apply today!
