GED, HiSET Diplomas

GED and HiSET testing

The GED test is computer-based. The HiSET test is completed on paper. You must come into the NEO Adult Learning Center to take the test, both of which are offered once a month. However, registration and payment must be done online. You will need an email address to open an account on these websites, so create a free one at Google, Yahoo, or Hotmail if you don’t already have one.

Register at www.ged.com or hiset.org and follow the provided instructions.
All testing dates and locations in Oklahoma are also available on these websites.

Both tests are available in English and Spanish.

Each website provides sample test questions to give you a preview and a better idea of the types of questions on the tests. Official Practice Tests are also available at GED. com through your account for a small cost. HiSET offers free downloadable test prep resources as well. These items will help you assess if you are “Test Ready”!

You are not fully registered until you have paid through the website.

If you have problems with GED, contact Pearson VUE at 1-877-EXAM-GED (1-877-392-6433)

For issues with HiSET, contact PSI/HiSET Customer Service at 1-855-694-4738.
You can always contact the NEO Adult Learning Center and we will do our best to help you at 918-540-6292.

When you arrive to take the GED or HiSET test:

  • Bring a current photo ID with you on your testing date. Expired IDs will not be accepted.
  • Tests are given in Dyer Hall, room 208 or 210 on the NEO A&M College campus in Miami unless otherwise specified. You should enter the building through the North side glass doors and proceed up the stairs to the second floor. Please enter quietly as others may be testing.
