About AICE
NEO is a diverse campus with many tribes and nations represented. Our unique diversity provides a rich cultural environment in which students can embrace their heritage while building solid futures. The American Indian Center for Excellence (AICE) was established in 2011 and our mission is simple: we aim to empower American Indian students to become successful, productive, healthy graduates.
AICE is funded by a Title III grant first awarded in the Fall of 2010. A conduit to internal and external resources, we strive to respond to the self-defined educational needs and goals of our American Indian students and communities. This goal is achieved through quality educational programming and professional development activities for area educators.
The mission of AICE is to retain and graduate American Indian students. AICE achieves these goals by promoting cultural values and by providing individual support that helps American Indian students excel academically, while also developing into healthy, successful contributors to their families, tribal communities and professions.
AICE provides many free services for your success – be sure to check out NEO’s campus services.
